Logistic teambuilding 10Dec09 ~Jalan2 Cari Makan @ Ipoh~

To be exact..this's the 4th teambuilding i had attended since i join Agilent in beginning of year 2008..i consider this is the BEST teambuilding ever cos there's NO MORE HIKING!!...Thanks goodness..hahaha..was excited bout this weeks before & am glad it turn out to be so much fun...btw its some sort of "Amazing Race Agilent" :p

We have to completed the questionaire (special thanks to Tong Wei & his lovely wife for the answers) & the "race" by taking photos of the famous food of Ipoh..this determines which team will win the prize...Our team, Cancer & Wei Lip's team, Gemini was the last to arrive at our final destination the Lost World of Tambun..this's not because we couldnt find the places but we are the only 2 teams that stopped by @ dim sum restaurant Foh San for lunch..frankly speaking although our teams did not manage to win any prizes but we enjoyed, we had fun just fooling around searching for FOOD & taking lotz & lotz of photos!! Thats our main objective FOOD & PHOTOS...truly no regrets

Thanks to Ah Tong Jie Jie, Joan, Melissa, Sun Nee, Wei Lip & Alicia for this memorable teambuilding..you guys are the greatest!

Will be going to Ipoh again with my dear coming Jan...stay tune for more photos updates...

Penang Hill

Every weekend Sim & I will be cracking our head thinking where should we go or what should we do to spend some quality time together...last weekend we decide to go Penang Hill..yeh!yeh! was so excited cos been there once when i was 4 years old...it was like ermmmm...21 years ago!!! fuhhhh!!! it actually took me so many years to revisit one of Penang's famous tourist attraction...

Anyway...we had our breakfast & headed to our destination, arriving there about 10.30 a.m. & bought our railway ticket departing @ 11.30 a.m...there was 1 hour of "golden" time for Sim to take a few puff..lolzz

puff**puff**

We were soon in the funicular train which was packed with ppl...moving unexplainable slow & in addition to the tensed situation, a kid crying non-stop, screaming her lungs out started to make Sim to look & feel uneasy...notty me took a photo of his look at that memorable moment...---> hehehe

looking real tensed! loosing his patience~~cute huh

Finally..we reached the hill top but to my disappointment there isnt much too see besides the scenery of Penang, a Hindu temple, a mini bird park, a police station...done visiting the Hill in just 1/2 hour....will be cracking our head again this coming weekend!!

2012

What exactly is 2012? Doomsday? End of the world? Will it actually happen? I don't believe that. I think it's all a myth. Only God knows the date & the time when world's going to end......

The year 2012 is referring to the last year of the Long Count Maya calendar. The current Great Cycle, as the Mayas call it, is set to end on the winter solstice of 2012: December 21 2012 and many people believe that on that date, the world will change and never be the same. Some predict terrible events resulting in the destruction of our world and some predict that it won’t necessarily end, but that we will enter a new era and massive changes will occur.

The disaster movie 2012 by Roland Emmerich (Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow) tells about when a global cataclysm thrusts the world into chaos, divorced writer and father Jackson Curtis (John Cusack) uses his knowledge of the ancient prophecies to ensure that the his family & human race is not completely wiped out. Also starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Danny Glover, Amanda Peet, Thandie Newton, and Oliver Platt round out the cast of this end-of-the-world thriller co-scripted by the director and his 10,000 B.C. writer/composer, Harald Kloser. ~ Jason Buchanan

I would not say that this is a bad movie..the effect was superb but it just that the logic is not applicable for this movie. The ending was not ended as what i had expected to be. After all at least i think it was worthwhile of money for a 3 hours long movie..No.1 complainer Mr.Sim started to complain about the numbness he was feeling on his ass for sitting too long for the movie..lolzzzz...Still thinks Transformer is the best!

The Final Destination

The Final Destination is a supernatural thriller like any other Final Destination movies, tells a story of a teen's premonition of a deadly race-car crash helps saves the lives of his peers, Death sets out to collect those who evaded their end. Soon after their escape, they begin dying one-by-one in mysterious freak accidents. Practically no one were able to survive from the chain of Death.

The movie was all right but how the movie ends was easily predicted before I even watch it. Suggest to watch it in 3D version it might be better.

Batu Kawan Restaurant

Its Mantis Shrimp Village Seafood Restaurant @ Bukit Tambun I wanted to go for dinner on a lovely saturday with Sim. We over shot & with Sim's sudden change of mind as usual we end up @ Batu Kawan Restaurant :P .....which i dont think is a wrong choice. The restaurant is quite isolated but i promise it is not a waste of effort if you really go search for it.

The restaurant is famous for its delicious & non expensive seafood. We ordered 5 dishes with rice + drinks cost us only RM56. There is just one particular thing i dont like about this restaurant is the FLIES which irritated me throughout my dinner...

Spicy "tan" @ RM6

Nestum mantis shrimp @ RM8

Bake crab @ RM24

Vege @ RM6

Steam octopus @ RM8

Dessert (sold outside of the restaurant @ RM10/3 packets)
I am happy with the food, Sim was happy with the food!!! We really enjoyed having the yummy seafood that night.
